Water Treatment: Grit separator system
Our circular degritter Vortex for Water Treatment divides particles of higher density from those of lower density, by means of rotation spads which create a vortex effect, which in turn moves the water upwards and the rest of the heavy matter to the bottom.
Once we have separated these elements, solids extraction can take place by means of a system of injecting air at various levels and therefore creating a suction effect which will extract the grit deposited at the bottom. This process is carried out every couple of hours depending on the amount of grit which we may have at the bottom of our circular degritter.
