Sludge Treatment: Central Thickener
The CENTRAL THICKENER series EP-009 AC manufactured for Sludge Treatment is used for concentration of the decanted solids and for liquid clarification. . It mainly consists of a circular tank (normally concrete) with a conic bottom and an inclination towards the interior of the tank. The mechanical equipment is assembled on top which will collect the sludge to be evacuated. The waste water is fed from the highest point to the feeding cylinder which eliminates the turbulences in the entrance flow and brings it down.
