A normal problem in the water treatment plants is the accumulation and treatment of sludge produced in the plant.

As a solution, ESTRUAGUA offers its sludge storage hopper, TAF ® model, with capacities between 5m3 and 100 m3.

This kind of sludge accumulation deposits are fabricated in a standard cylindrical shape, under request they can be built in trapezoidal shape.

Description:

Support legs:

Normally built in hot laminated profiles IPE or UPN depending of the storage capacities of the hopper, each equipment has four legs that are electrically welded either to union plates or to the hopper’s own body.

Body:

Of cylindrical execution in its upper section and conic in the lower one, its width oscillates between 4.00 mm and 6.00 mm, depending of the volume of the body. Normalized profiles exterior reinforcements, either angulated or in UPN profiles.

Access stair:

The “TAF ®” hoppers have two types of stairs, the first one reaches the discharge moth and the second one takes us from the discharge mouth to the upper part of the deposit or charging zone.


Discharge moth:

Of electric execution by means of an actuator or hydraulic by means of a hydraulic piston, both in all/nothing execution..

Surface protection:

All the “TAF ®” storage hoppers built in carbon steel A/-42.b quality are submitted to the following finishing process and anti corrosive protection,

- Interior
- Sandblast grade
- 4 Epoxy tar priming layers (50 microns each)

- Exterior
- Sandblast grade
- 4 Epoxy tar priming layers (50 microns each)
- 2 layers of HEMPEL by component finish (50 microns each)
