Introduction:

Placed as primary treatment in treatment plants, it allows a better yield of the rest of the plant, as well as a smaller operation cost.

These equipments, whose screening fineness is between 0.25 mm and 3.00 mm, are generally used in waste water. They are also of correct application in industrial waste waters.

Static sieves have an incorporated screen, constituted by horizontal bars in special profile built in stainless steel of Aisi 304 or 316 quality.

Water is distributed in the upper part of the screen, whose inclination over horizontal diminishes progressively from top to bottom between 65 º y 45 º approximately. Effects of separation and dripping of solid matters are obtained successively.

General characteristics:

Metallic cabinet.- the static sieve consists of a metallic cabinet built in stainless steel of Aisi 304 or 316 quality, which is of use for water conduction and channeling, as well as the screen’s support.

Filtrating screen.- specially designed for such application, built in stainless steel of Aisi 304 or 316 quality. (Curved or straight type depending on installation).

Finishing.- standard finishing is avesta rust removal welding and hot pressurized water jet, as optional a crystal ball jet is offered.

Description:

This separation is accomplished in a fast way, without energy support, with almost absolute absence of maintenance and in conditions that make easier than in any other system the transportation of these solids, because they come out already dripped.

Thanks to this easiness and because the advantages that its utilization can offer, it is adequate in many installations, it allows the reutilization of solids that were flushed away in the wastes, obtaining a profitability and the problem of reduction of wastes is solved at the same time.
