It consist basically of a set of sweeping racks of alternative movement hydraulically driven and installed in a rectangular tank with its bottom sloped.

Helicoidal Grit Classifier - CAH-015 ®
The water/ sand mixture is pumped to the clasificador helicoidal. They create a flujo laminar, due to the special conception of the entrada and the shape of the tank, which favours a good decantation.
